Strengthening symbiosis between education, industry and society
Empowering education, industry and local governements to co-create vocational pathways that match real-world competence needs.
Strong connections are needed to face new challenges
In a world of rapid technological and economic change, strong collaboration between education and industry is essential. Industries are facing rapid change and vocational education and training (VET) needs closer and more structured collaboration with it to keep their educational offers relevant.
Shift Skills is an Erasmus+ cooperation project that tackles the growing competence mismatch between vocational education and the real competence needs of industry, particularly in the context of the green shift and digital transformation.

PROJECT RESULTS
AN EUROPEAN PARTNERSHIP
Shift Skills is implemented by a consortium of five organisations from three European countries, bringing together expertise from vocational education and training, industry and business organisations and career guidance and public
authorities.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union (KA220-VET) and builds on close cooperation between education providers, industry representatives, and regional stakeholders.
Together, the partnership works to develop practical solutions that support better career guidance, stronger educationindustry collaboration, and sustainable local employment.
